Hi all. Cool site. I was living in Milwaukee for 8ish years and kinda fell off the camping thing, except for a 5 month jaunt to argentina and a few northern wisco trips. I love it. Went to Alaska in '98 and did a bit of hiking, canoeing, salmon fishing and some mountain climbing. I'm going back this year for the salmon harvest and a month or two of funnin' around in the wilderness. My sleeping bag and backpack died and were buried when I moved to Charleston 8 months ago. My tent has been traded for a sub par 4 man eureka (the fly doesn't meet the ground and is too big for anything but carcamping). So, I'm in the market for a fly that's extra windproof (going past the tent with room for rocks to hold it down sorta thing) and a little, light two people tent, as well as a 20 degree sleepin bag and a 50 lb. backpack to hold all the other gear that has made it with me.
Thank you for letting me in on this wonderful site. I look forward to meeting a few of you on the trails.
