Well Im 24, married, Im a Corporal in the Marine Corps. My friend Manny showed me this site. Pretty cool. Im about as new as it gets to backpacking and what not. When I was stationed out in 29 Palms California i did a little rock climbing. I love the desert. When I eventualy retire i want to retire in the South west. Im currently in Afghanistan, but I'd like to turn hiking and backpacking into a hobby my wife and I can both enjoy.
