Contribute to Trailspace's Gear Brands Directory

Trailspace features than 1,600 outdoor gear brands (and counting) in our directory of brands, and recently we've been busy updating and adding even more brands to those listings. From the vintage to the current, and from big names to small custom shops, we want to include the backcountry gear brands important to you.

What will you find in our brand listings? Visit the product page for a brand (ex. Black Diamond or Teva) and you can find not only gear reviews and product information, but, in the brand info on the left-hand side:

  • links to brand blogs,
  • social media buttons for Facebook, twitter, YouTube, vimeo, and flickr accounts, and
  • contact information, including websites, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email.

Did we leave out the blog of your favorite cottage gear designer? Missed the company that made your favorite backpack? Has a brand just started using twitter? Did you discover a cool outdoor gear company while traveling overseas?

Let us know and we'll add that backcountry gear brand and its contact and social media information to the directory.

And, if you see a brand you want to review already listed on Trailspace, but not the gear (yet), jump in and write that first gear review. You can write a review of any piece of backcountry gear (new or old), as long as it's on-topic and for human-powered, backcountry adventures.

So, tell us more about those hidden gear gems, and we'll share them with the Trailspace community in our directory of outdoor brands.

p.s. If you scroll down the right-hand side of the blog pages, you'll notice that we've also updated and expanded our links to Other Outdoor Blogs to include more outdoor sites and organizations.
