Omnium

rated 5 of 5 stars I completed my first 100-mile ultra marathon this past weekend. The hard terrain was too much for my lightweight running shoes and the ball of my left foot was starting to hurt. At about mile 27 I switched to my Omniums (which I had received the Wednesday prior). I completed the last 73 miles of the event in my Tevas and they held up magnificently. As I said, I received them on the Wednesday prior to my Saturday race. Ironically, I only wore them once before the race because I noticed a little chaffing… Full review

Original Universal

rated 3 of 5 stars Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry. Founded in the early 1980s by a Colorado River guide, Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category. For more than 20 years on rivers, in canyons, and across the trails of the great outdoors, athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe comfortably and confidently in Teva footwear. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we play is at the core of everything Teva stands for. The Teva name itself is a Hebrew word meaning "nature" and… Full review

Karnali Wraptor

rated 1 of 5 stars Almost lost my life with these. They are very dangerous on hard surfaces due to the hard plastic arch plate on the sole. These sandals have a hard plastic arch on the sole. When you are climbing over rock (wet or dry) and rest on this hard plastic, it slips. I was unfortunate enough to have slipped while climbing along a cliff over a ferocious waterfall and cauldron below. There was a scraping sound and then I was hanging by one hand over the "slot machine" (see below). It was not a pleasant experience. … Full review

X-1 Control 2

rated 4 of 5 stars Great shoe for all mountain activity. Holds up to things that it wasn't really designed for: day hiking, mountain bike riding, rock climbing. Too bad they are gone. I hope someone else had a good experience with this outstanding shoe. It's a shame that this is discontinued. I have a pair that I bought for mountain biking. Yep, Crazy. But they work great for cross-country style riding. I have hiked with them on too. One thing I haven't done is run in them. I really can't say how well they would work… Full review

Churn

rated 5 of 5 stars Excellent shoe. Excellent shoes, period. Not just water shoes, but everyday walking shoes. In fact I have been wearing almost nothing but these Teva Churns for about five years now. Almost have worn out one pair and set them aside for work shoes like digging in the garden or whatever dirty work. Wearing a pair now that is about 1.5 to 2 years old and have two more pairs still brand new in the box waiting on deck for when my daily pair wears out. I have yet in 5 years even worn them in the water… Full review
