Trailspace stickers in action.
The day after Thanksgiving is "Black Friday," typically the highest volume of sales, chaos and consumption for brick and mortar retailers. Until recently, the consumer excess was limited to one day, but no longer. Recently, "Cyber Monday," the online equivalent of "Black Friday" has extended the frenzy for another day. Is there any escape?
Of course there's nothing wrong with buying gear — either online or from your local outdoor retailer — but the juxtaposition of both Black Friday and Cyber Monday with the thankful ethos of Thanksgiving gives many pause. Don't get me wrong, good things are great, and buying gear feels good, but anyone who has seen a mountain sunrise can relate to the aphorism "The best things in life aren't things."
So, in bold defiance of both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Trailspace is offering an antidote and expressing sincere thanks for our great community. Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you some free stickers. You don't have to wait in line, compare prices, or save coupons. Just shoot us an e-mail with your mailing address and soon you'll have some spiffy new Trailspace stickers. It's our way of saying thank you to the people who make our community possible.
Our stickers might not make you faster, more resistant to blisters or cold, but they do weigh less than 2 grams and communicate to the world that you're a member of a real community of passionate backcountry adventurers. Thanks for being part of Trailspace!
