Extreme Outdoor Food Happiness

If you haven't seen it already, check out this video of Norwegian explorer Aleksander Gamme experiencing extreme outdoor food happiness.

Here's how Gamme introduces the clip:

This is day 86 on my full return South Pole Expedition 2011/2012. I'm quite hungry and about to pick up my last cache by my second pulk which I left on the way in. As a part of my motivational plan I have on purpose not made notes on what goodies I have left behind in the cache... and on this last one, I didn't expect very much...

Boy was he surprised.

Nothing else tastes like a double pack of Cheez Doodles after nearly three months solo in Antarctica.

Yahhhhhhhhh !!! Up up and away !!!

Good thing a strong gust didn't get ahold of those things mid-flight. We would be hearing "Noooooooo" and watching him cover arctic tundra at warp speed like no man has ever done before.

Kinda reminds me of that squirrel thing from Ice Age chasing the nut the whole movie. I thought Cartman from South Park was bad with his Cheesey Poofs...

Sheesh. :p

I think he and I share the same barber although mine is a bit longer than his.

Its the little things that we overlook from day to day that mean so much when we don't have them but go unnoticed when we do.

I may cache a bucket of KFC next winter on one of my trips... With mashed taters & slaw.

Yep, I can relate.  Chocolate covered marzipan, those Mexican mango flavored suckers covered with powdered chili, and high quality jerky were the gastronomic vises stashed in my caches.

LMAO!!  Man is that one happy crazy guy!  I guess after almost 90 days of eating the same stuff, little things make all the difference.

Too Funny
