Welcome, Ashleigh and G00SE, Our Newest Moderators

by Alicia MacLeay

I'd like to extend a very warm welcome and thank-you to Ashleigh and G00SE, our newest community moderators!

Moderators are invaluable members of Trailspace. Volunteer moderators help keep the community running smoothly for all of us, every day. A moderator is chosen for his or her positive contributions to and leadership in the community, as well as a friendly, welcoming personality.

As many of you know, Ashleigh is an avid hiker and backpacker from South Carolina, who also enjoys traveling out West with her husband. The couple even got married and honeymooned in Yosemite National Park.

G00SE (aka Jeffery) is a hammock camper, backpacker, and caver from Illinois. In his work hours he manages an adventure challenge ropes course, while saving up for a 2023 Appalachian Trail thru-hike.

Both Ashleigh and G00SE are top reviewers, members of our Review Corps testing program, and have been named Reviewer of the Month for their helpful contributions (Ashleigh in January 2013 and G00SE in February 2014).

Ashleigh and G00SE join fellow moderators GonzanMike, and Tom D in welcoming, guiding, and assisting all of our community members, seasoned regulars and first-time posters alike. They help the community in their free time, all in exchange for our enduring thanks and esteem (plus the occasional free hat).

Thanks to all of Trailspace's moderators for their invaluable help, good judgment, and friendly guidance.

If you have questions or an issue about the site, please reach out to a moderator directly, or flag a forum post or review for our moderators to look into. Or, you can simply send them your thanks for helping keep Trailspace running as a positive, welcoming, outdoor gear community. Thank you!
