"After a two-hour walk in a moderate to heavy rain, the Gore-tex fabric leaked badly. My shoulders were soaked and a wallet that I had stowed in an interior jacket pocket was soaked too. I have no idea how to claim this on my warranty."

"I have owned my jacket for about 3 years and it still performs well. However I can't seem to find out how to redeem the lifetime guarantee the clerk at the store told me about. I love this coat but I would hate to lose it."

"I got this jacket at one of those big-ass sports store (Sports Authority) and am quite happy with it. I have never heard of the name, but it is fairly well made, and has kept me dry in torrential downpours, and warm (with a fleece line) in a winter blizzard while skiing. It seems to be a pretty good buy."
