Keeps you warm when need it, and cool when you don't. Great for areas that are cooler in the morning but warm up throughout the day. As a Ranger with TheDyrt, I sometimes get the opportunity to try out different products and recently I had the opportunity to try out the A5 Soft Shell shirt from Beyond Clothing. The biggest thing that I loved about the shirt was how light weight it was. I love taking clothing in the backcountry that works well, but also has a lighter weight than similar products. Full review
$380— I was expecting a lifelong pant with terrific quality and features. NOPE, the cheapest zippers on the pockets that I have EVER seen, AND, misconstructed on top of that. Sent back, then one month later I get them back and the zipper bottom had a cheap, bent-up plastic clasp replaced at the bottom. I had to hammer it and straighten it myself. Fabric is okay, customer service is good, actual fit and design is mediocre. Note: I don't have the Steel Shock pants, but the Mojave. The cuff was close to two inches above my ankles, the hips were too tight despite me already building in buffer room to this measurement,… Full review
I just ordered a Cold Fusion jacket. Now I'm a tall person, but on receiving I found I could have worn it as a dress! Contacting the company I was told to send it back with the changes I needed. Over four weeks later the jacket was returned to me with not a single change made! Apparently it was made to my specification (I measured and checked - it wasn't). Their right fit guarantee is a sham. So now am left with a useless jacket (or will have to pay a small fortune to have adjusted), and out of… Full review
Original Review March 3, 2006: Schoeller WB-400 is stretchy nylon outer layer with thin layer of fleece inside. Sandwiched between them is a thin membrane of what looks like thin saran wrap. The effect is wind and water resistance, and the outer fabric is abrasion resistant. The custom part of the concept is good, but the customer service is lacking. My jacket came too short in the torso and I have not been able to get a return authorization to get it fixed. My suggestion is to find a WB-400 garment… Full review
