I bought the MSS Sleep System at Smith’s Surplus and I have to tell you, it's the only sleeping system I ever need. It's adaptable, meaning you can use it in any setting. It once kept me completely dry, even when I woke up in the middle of a stream. It prevents wind and water from getting in. Just found this site, looking for Wiggy's site. I was amazed to read some of the other stories in regard to their experience with Wiggy's. I have no reason to doubt either side in that, I can only relate my own experience.I ordered a number of bags from a Wiggy's dealer in 1999. They were drop shipped to me directly from Wiggy's, and arrived in large cardboard boxes. I ordered bags for myself and girlfriend, and three relatives at the same time, as well as the lamilite ground pads. I'm sure I made my dealer's day, that day.I can only relate firsthand experience for the Superlight FTRSS product (though all bags are still in use at this time).

No frill military grade bag — no frills — just a lot of material to keep you warm the ultimate intent.

This bag is no frills — it is simple and durable and can not be beat. In other words, it isn't a Cadillac — it's a 1 ton work truck. When you get the bag, take it to a seamstress and have them blind stitch velcro on the inside IOT keep the baffle down over the zipper and also install a durable fabric strip with snaps on the outside of the zipper IOT provide an extra margin of safety. After all this bag is intended to save your life. Wiggy's doesn't need to do the aforementioned because of the different styles out there and by them not doing them keeps the cost of the bag down.

Super warm, two bag system. Well tested over 4 winters.

I have owned this bag system for about 4 years and cannot say enough. I camp a lot in all weather from hot summer to a ton of winter camping. I sleep very cold, that’s why I bought this bag. Even in MANY nights lower than -10 degrees, I have stayed warm. You need to “learn” the bag however, how to draw it closed, how to ventilate, even if you need a little extra. I slept in -24 degrees one night and added a thin wool blanket along the zipper area. I guess I only wish they put a bigger draft tube.

I've owned a pair of (mate-able) Ultima Thule Wiggy bags for about 5 years now, and am really very pleased with them. The Wide-Body feature is nice if you want some additional room, or just don't care for a mummy style bag. Believe me, the Wide-Body models are not like sleeping in a mummy style bag at all. They seem to me more like a slightly tapered rectangular bag, where only the foot area is anything like "confining".I was first exposed to them when a friend mentioned the National Guard used them, and commented on just how small they were when "vacuum-shrink-wrapped" for storage by them! Yet he maintained they returned to original loft after simply fluffing the bag once and lying it out flat on the ground for about 30 minutes.My first outting...

Hi there, I've owned this model for about two years now. It is a fabulous sleeping bag. We went camping last minute in late autumn in Northern Maine and ended up in a rain storm. When we woke up, we found ourselves in two inch standing water inside our tent. But thanks to NEBO, we awoke cozy, warm, and dry, while the rest of our tent and hiking gear was soaked. I hike with this in my pack all the time. It has 4lbs of fill weight that even I can take anywhere. I am 5'6, 120lbs. It can zip to my boyfriend's sleeping bag in seconds and is the most rugged sleeping bag I've ever owned.

I tested it at -10 centigrades without a tent. I was in polar clothes and it was quite comfortable. I think it's a very good choice. Good materials, price to quality ratio is excellent! It's also important that there's no cotton in any part of this sleeping bags, so it gets dry very qickly. Hood is also big and has optimal shape.But it's not produced now! Instead of this model campus produces the series "Adventure" which are comparable with model "Polar", if somebody likes to buy it I can help with this because I live in Poland. If you tend to feel cold camping, then this is the bag for you. Very roomy inside and not the least confining. You get a good night's rest.

Always had a hard time when it came to sleeping bags. In the mornings I would always ache all over from being too cold. I own a North Face mummy bag rated at zero degrees. I bought it cuz it packed up nice and was a very warm bag. I'm 6ft and about 240 lbs so I never found mummy that suited me, felt too tight and confining. I saw this Browning McKinley bag in the store and it looked like it'd be a good choice for me. I bought the extra long 36 x 90 which had lots of room for me plus it's rated for -30°F.

This sleeping bag I am reviewing is a great bag. Its finished dimensions are 90x39. It is made by Nebo Sports and distrubuted by WWW.MOOSINEER.COM MOOSINEER RULES. Anyways, it has a draft tube along the zipper and has offset baffle to prevent cold spots and a shoulder height draft tube. The inner linning is a really warm and comfortable flannel. The outside is this highly water resistant nylon that feels incredibly and is tough. The outside bottom is black and the top part is maroon. This bag comes with a beastly stuff sack that is highly compressable.

A well made bag in tall sizing (100") that is made for big and tall men or women. More of a car camping sleeping bag that kept me warm all night from head to toe. Impressed with quality of construction.

Okay, I'm a big guy and enjoy sleeping comfortably while camping. For my most recent camping trip, I used a Gargantuan sized bag that swallows my 6'7" frame with ease. Rated at -5°, I was very warm and comfortable even though the temperature only got down to about 20 degrees. I didn't know that sleeping bags were made this long (100") and wide (40") until I found this bag. It's not a backpacking sleeping bag, but a car camping piece that is perfect for taller or bigger folks. The bag is a slightly tapered fit with 37" of foot room and 40" of shoulder room.
