"The Edelrid Eagle 70m rope is designed to perform in nearly any condition—from alpine peaks with rain and snow to sunny days at the crag. Unique rope treatments make the Eagle suitable for alpine, ice/mixed, sport, indoor and top rope climbing. Advance Shield rope treatment is applied to each individual fiber of the rope, providing long-lasting protection against water and dirt. Thermal Stabilization process applies heat treatment to the yarns in the core and sheath, creating excellent handling characteristics and a soft touch. Thermal Stabilization treatment cannot be removed or washed off, ensuring excellent performance throughout the life the of rope. Kernmantle design combines a durable braided sheath with a shock-absorbing core for protection from fall forces. 70m length is especially helpful on long leads and rappels. Meets UIAA tests for falls, impact force and elongation."
