UCO A-120

rated 4 of 5 stars Light and comfortable on the head with an easily adjustable output, the UCO A-120 works well for in-camp lighting or after dark activity both on- and off-trail. Good battery life even on the brightest setting makes this lamp especially good for those who night hike or do other activities that require long periods of use, even if it is just reading in your tent. Product Specifications From Vendor:    BATTERY TYPE (included): 3x 1.5v AAA in external pack    BULB TYPE: CREE XP-E LED    HIGHLY… Full review

UCO A-45 Comfort-Fit Headlamp

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Light and comfortable on the head with an easily adjustable output, the UCO A-45 works well for in-camp lighting, though few would find it bright enough for night hiking. Super easy to use making it great for children or others that may have dexterity issues. Good battery life even on the brightest setting means you won't have to be changing them all the time when the kids forget to turn the lamp off. This review was done in conjunction with the UCO A-120 which is the A-45's higher powered companion… Full review

Princeton Tec Helix Bluetooth

rated 3 of 5 stars The Princeton Tec Helix Backcountry is a collapsible lantern, which uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery (1800 mAh or 3 AA batteries as a back-up), to boast up to 250 lumens of ambient light. Using Bluetooth technology the lantern can be controlled with your smartphone using the free app (available for both Android and iOS). The Helix Bluetooth would be best for the technology enthusiast whose primary concern is not weight, whether that’s around the cottage, BBQ, festival or car camping. The… Full review

Snow Peak Mini Hozuki

rated 1.5 of 5 stars Poor design, outrageous price. This is how I really feel. Snow Peak normally makes some awesome, although normally over the top, gadgets This functions as a light, as long as the batteries are charged and you can figure out how to turn it on. The light is diffused nicely due to the frosted lens over the LED (also the on button) and the frosted silicone shade. It is especially nice when sitting flat on a table or rock, or ground. When you try to hang it, it does not hang straight. The little magnet… Full review

Princeton Tec Helix Backcountry

rated 5 of 5 stars OMG. This thing kicks ass!!!!! This is the coolest light I have ever owned. So many useful ways to use. Can be used with or without the rubber diffuser like a flashlight, or hanging from a tree, or just  sitting on a table. Very bright! Full review

Princeton Tec Byte

rated 4 of 5 stars This is one awesome headlamp. Light and bright, well bright enough for me. Had mine for about three years, maybe more? Three settings of light and easy to adjust. This was a gift to me after a fall in the dark at Camp Daniel Boone in WNC. It got 70 lumens up to 30 meters. At 2.26 it is light and small. The hi and low settings are bright. The red light function is great for not waking the whole camp at night. Mine was a gift. But they run about 23 to 30 bucks. Full review

UCO Arka

rated 5 of 5 stars The Uco Arka is a wonderful little lantern to have in your pack—so many uses from a very durable and reliable unit. Works great to charge my cellphone or GPS unit. A very practical light to keep in the house or car. Absolutely love this lantern. So many uses as a light source from lantern, flashlight, nightlight, strobe, red, and emergency use. A big advantage is the ability to charge other devices, which works great.   Three small legs on the base help to stabilize if using on a relative flat… Full review

Ozark Trail 6 volt flashlight

rated 0.5 of 5 stars Warranty sucks. Ozark won't respond. Ozark should have offered a new light or given me a new light or at least responded. The light works good, wonky for about 3 minutes, then it goes off. I don't buy anything from Ozark anymore and I do tell friends the same, since they don't stand behind their products at all. Coleman Twin LED Lantern

rated 5 of 5 stars Generally, it works very good and is excellent. Lights are very bright and last long enough for nights. I can see more that 20 meters and control of range is good enough for night life when camping and playing. Full review
