With a solid suspension system and 3,200 cubic inches of interior storage room, the Ascent is perfect for backpacking trips of any length. Depending on their size, the Ascent 3200 typically fits children between the ages of 8 and 12. An internal frame of 2 aluminum stays ensures stability and good load dispersal to the hip belt. Padded back panel is covered with air mesh for quick wicking and ventilation. Suspension system features padded shoulder straps, load straps, sternum strap, and padded hip belt. "It gets the job done. If you're just getting into the hobby, then this is a great way to start. Even if you do not use it ever again, it's a great tool to have. You may never know when this will actually render to be handy."
