I bought this bag before I left for 3 months of trekking in Nepal. My reasoning was that I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bag that might be too disgusting to use after the trip. The microfibre shell is outstanding! I spilled several cups of tea in my lap and they beaded off harmlessly. The collar, hood and draft tube are pretty pathetic given the bags temp rating and I did get chilled when the temps dipped into the single digits (I am also a cold sleeper). The bag survived the trip and after a good washing it is still going stong. If you're looking for a good quality down bag at reasonable price, this might be it. There are nicer bags out there but you'll pay for them.

This bag is the bomb!!! To test it I slept out in my backyard during January. I like how small it compresses. Camping in late Nov. on the lake in an open lean-to is like mid July in this bag.
