I have been happy with the Peakbagger. It rides well, and I can get everything I need into it for day hikes up along the continental divide. New purchasers should know that the canted water bottle pockets are very convenient when you're hiking alone (and walking upright). When leaning forward while rock scrambling, or picking something up off the ground, the bottles have a habit of sliding out on you. The dual-zippered opening in the back is really convenient. The whistle never worked, however.
Here's what other sites are saying:
The perfect hauler for a full-day outside, this 1,700 cubic inch backpack offers convenient access from both the top and front. A great pack for hiking and climbing. Hydration compatible. Molded, removable I-beam framesheet provides lightweight support and comfort. Contoured, breathable Brock foam straps and hip belt. Dual-density mesh back panel makes for a cooler carry. Hydration compatible with port and sleeve. Daisy chain and tool loops for carrying extra gear. Front and top access into pack. Large side mesh pockets and stretch water bottle pockets. Safety whistle on sternum strap.
