This hat is nice to have in the wilderness. It is light, packable, breathable, drys quickly, wicks moisture away from your head, low profile (meaning that it won't catch every branch you walk by because it sits high off your head, comfortable. I have sprayed it down with bug spray, put it in a insect repellent soak & washed it the washer & dryer several time and it always hold up well.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
