Summary
Great addition to the Exped mat. Allows you to sit up in the tent and lounge or makes a cushy chair.
Pros
- Protects your pad
- Saves your lower back from pain.
Cons
- Additional weight
I leave this on my Exped down mat 9 most of the time other than for very long backpacking trips where min weight is the goal. It alows you to pull a few straps and have a great back rest in your tent for reading or lounging. It also protects the pad from dirt and wear. You can also arrange it into a very cushy chair.
Just be careful around the fire, or cover it with a wool blanket to protect from sparks.
Great product!
