Flylow Gear TC Micro-Puff Vest
Here's what other sites are saying:
Not everyone is a vest person. In fact, half of our design team would never wear a vest (that is of course unless it was a super cool looking vest). So, we made a very stylish looking vest, but, also made it as technical as you need for a day in the snow. First, we took the fit of a retro work vest (shorter seems from the neck to the shoulder) so that the vest would layer better than those old cheesy race vests. Then we chose an extremely thin and tough nylon material and combined it with Thermolite Micro-puff insulation. The result is an incredibly functional, warm, cool looking vest that is the size of a large orange when packed tight. Tough and Classy. Totally Cool. ReTro Chic. The potential answers to 'What does the "TC" in "Flylow Men's TC Vest" stand for'' are nearly endless. Also endless are the situations that this synthetically-insulated and athletic-fitting vest will suit: in-bounds pow-hounding, skin-track layering, bar-scene cruising. Cold days on a Rocky Mountain tour or a Utah hut trip are better with a non-restrictive insulating layer, and good holiday portraits all but require a vest these days, so you'll never have to take it off (plus, chicks love nothing more than a dude wearing a vest with no shirt, if that's more your style).
FlyLow's TC Vest, made from packable micro-puff, is a lightweight, insulating vest with retro style and looks as good on the skin track as it does eating nachos in the aprs- ski bar. The shoulder seams are shorter for layering and the back has a long tail to keep snow out of your underwear on deep days.
