Retailers' Descriptions

Here's what other sites are saying:

If you've always wanted to run trails in sandals, but you also wanted a little more coverage and support around the upper, you'll appreciate the minimalist profile and full support of this GoLite Tara Lite Running Shoe for men. The Men's Tara Lite shoe is part of GoLite's BareTech trail running collection, a series of lightweight minimalist running shoes that emphasize stability, traction and foot protection. Beneath the two different EVA densities is GoLite's Sticky Gecko outsole with Gripstick Rubber. It features a distinct tread made up of over 300 small lugs for improved traction on wet and uneven natural surfaces. GoLite applied two types of EVA as part of their "Soft Against the Ground" technology--the softer EVA is against the Sticky Gecko outsole while the harder EVA remains close to your feet. This allows the sole of the Men's Tara Lite to absorb more trail shock and reduces rear foot slippage by 33%, possibly minimizing your exposure to ankle injuries.
