Here's what other sites are saying:

Angle-shaped piton, the basic pin for any alpine or wall rack. Tough Chromolly.

- Ramsey Outdoor

On Sale. Grivel Rocket 110 Piton (Fall 2007) The Rocket 110 Thick Piton by Grivel is a necessary, basic shape for any alpine or wall rack. The 35 is chopped short for use in bottoming pin scars, shallow limestone cracks or desert trickery. Rockets stack well with Onda pitons. The hard ChroMoly steel will last through many, many placements. The length of the piton is marked (in centimeters) near the eye so if you encounter one that's fixed you can tell something about it. Still, nothing beats a in.hammer test,in. which hopefully delivers a satisfying ringing sound. Specifications: Weight: 102 gm Size: 110 x 22.2 mm Materials: ChroMoly Steel Construction: Stamped Angled Piton

- Moosejaw
