Here's what other sites are saying:

Extra flat piton, narrower and with a finer point than Sabre.

- Ramsey Outdoor

Grivel Stiletto 50 Thick Piton (Fall 2007) The Stiletto 50 Thick Piton by Grivel is an extra flat piton, narrower than the Sabre although generally similar in thickness. The sharpened tip will cut into dirt and frozen turf. Knife-blade style pitons offer good holding power in horizontal cracks. Despite offering less resistance in vertical cracks, when a Stiletto is all you can get the laboratory results mean nothing and clipping it to the rope will bring a sigh of relief. The length of the piton is marked (in centimeters) near the eye so if you encounter one that's fixed you can tell something about it. Still, nothing beats a in.hammer test,in. which hopefully delivers a satisfying ringing sound. Specifications: Weight: 72 gm Size: 50 x 6.3 mm Materials: ChroMoly Steel Construction: Stamped KB Style Piton

- Moosejaw
