This pack series can be stripped down to just a plain packbag with shoulder straps, weighing in at just over a pound. Load-transferring, slow-memory foam hipbelt molds to your body; accepts two gear loops to carry extra gear. LightBeam™ stays weigh half of what traditional stays weigh, yet still supply the stiffness needed for support. Compression straps wrap around pack to pull the load as close to your body as possible, increasing stability. Top pocket adjusts in height and opens with single buckle for easy access. "I bought this because I like the ability to tailor the pack for the type and length of use. Although it was more expensive I have replaced three other packs with this one."
