It's a really comfortable pack with lots of room and large outside pockets.

Pros:
+Size is plenty for travel where you aren't carrying cooking gear and 3 weeks of draws.
+Tightens down easily for compact carrying
+Tough bottom
+comfortable hip straps
+removable top for use as hip pouch! Much more useful than you think. It's seriously a built in day pack.
+outside pockets big enough to fit shoes or other gear you don't want riding inside.
+tough enough to be thrown around
+hydration compatible
+great adjustment system for sizing
+good padding for back, shoulders even for shorter people.

Cons:
-no bottom compartment for bag compression or lower access, so you have to dig for everything.
-no good water bottle system
-hydration system takes up a huge amount of packing space if you use it.
-heavy, not an ultralight
-top doesn't sit even or pull tight when the pack isn't fully loaded.
-side compression/pole straps don't hold tight enough to really use
-needs more small pockets
-water bottle webs stretch out
