I bought this bag for its weight and temp. rating…

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: Mummy
Fill: polarguard 3D
Temperature Rating: 25 F
Weight: 2lbs 6oz
Price Paid: $79.99

I bought this bag for its weight and temp. rating at this price-point. The bag is very light and compresses down to 8" x 9" with a compression sack, perfect for backpacking. Inner lining is very comfortable and zippers are of good quality.

My only gripe (and it's kind of a biggy) is that this IS NOT a 25 degree bag. I tend to sleep warm and spending a night at freezing temp. in this bag was not comfortable at all. Finally ended up in full long underwear, a light fleece pullover, and doubling up on socks.

If you're looking for a light ~35 degree bag that compresses well at under $100, this is a good buy. If you're looking for something to keep you warm in cold temperatures, and think you might be able to make do with a 25 degree bag, keep looking. A 25 degree bag this aint!

Bought this bag for my 12-yr-old Boy Scout. It compresses…

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Design: regular
Temperature Rating: 25
Price Paid: $55

Bought this bag for my 12-yr-old Boy Scout. It compresses very well, fits easily into the sleeping bag compartment on his backpack. The color is ugly enough that he thinks it's real cool.

Not sure what happened @ Kelty, but we thought we were getting a mummy bag and opened the box to find a square bottom. The color and tags are all the same as the mummy bag.

The only thing to be aware of is that when Kelty says regular size, they mean 5'9" or shorter. Any taller and you'll kick out the bottom. And a temp rating of 25 is closer to 40. My son has ended up sleeping in full fleece when the temp drops below 40 in the midwest.

Overall a very good bag for a 12-yr-old Boy Scout.
