this is a great step up from a daypack or rucksack, when you want the load more streamlined and stable, close to your body. basic features, no frills. secure zip money pocket and key clip in top bag. compression straps all around. the sheet-frame was comfortable on my 21" back.

only complaints: the water-bottle "holster" pockets are too small for a 1 ltr nalgene bottle, and the internal pocket (for the frame) can hold a large water bladder (platypus 106 oz.), but it makes the pack, which is otherwise "quiet", squeak annoyingly.

overall an excellent day-climbing pack.
