rated 5 of 5 stars Warm, lightweight, packable, and multi-use—this spin on the classic GI poncho liner is one of the best blankets/quilts I've ever used. I started looking for a lightweight, packable sleeping option for overnight hikes or for something I could use around the house in the winter. I'm a fan of durable, hard use gear and familiar with Kifaru's excellent packs. I stumbled upon a discussion on the Woobie, which is Kifaru's take on the classic GI poncho liner that has been so popular with our armed forces,… Full review

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Almost perfect. I agree the Doobie is excellent for what it is. I write separate only to note for our readers that the insulation is somehow disconnected from the shell such that it can be hard to get the insulation where it needs to be in the middle of the night in a hammock in the woods. Giving up and going to sleep still leaves you warm, but only satisfied at 4.5 stars. Full review

rated 5 of 5 stars The warmest blanket for the weight I have ever seen. Compresses deceptively small and then fluffs out like a comforter. Tactical Platform Frame and Suspension

rated 5 of 5 stars This is a pack frame that you can carry anything that your legs can lift in, comfortably, whether it's an ultralight sil-nylon bag, firewood, or your friend who sprained an ankle. My configurations vary from a 2000 cubic inch day pack, rifle, and a cargo panel for meat, to a dry bag with an 8-man tipi, wood stove, and gear for me and my two kids. This pack is for those that want the ability to carry really heavy loads easily. Great for military, hunting, or all around backpacking, with the capability… Full review

KU 5200

rated 5 of 5 stars Ultralight custom made pack that handles heavy loads. 2#s 14 oz's lightest best ultralight pack period. Add on pods for for more gear. I put 125#s on this and it was as comfortable as any pack I have ever used.  Dont forget at two+pounds you get to add two to seven pounds free compared to other packs. That means you can carry almost a gallon of water and it won't be any heavier than most other packs this size. Custom made to fit your measurements. Patrick Smith (Kifaru/Mountainsmith) has redefined… Full review
