Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $39.95

Seriously, who uses anything else but the pliers, knife, or scissors on any multitool? The screw drivers etc on my Leatherman Kick are like brand new condition after 4 years. I carry a Style CS for the scissors or nail care needs. I think Leatherman finally made a tool for yuppies :)

  • Well built
  • Compact
  • Doesn't clash style wise with my watches or phone

- Moosejaw

The Freestyle is fewer than 5 ounces, making it the lightest full-size multi-tool platform on the market. Freestyle features a premium 420HC stainless steel blade, needle-nose and regular pliers, wire cutters and removable pocket clip - that's it. Only the most necessary multi-tool features, because sometimes that's all you need. Easily clips on to a belt, pack, or vest - no sheath required. Blade length: 2.6 in. Closed length: 3.45 in. Weight: 4.5 oz.

- Mountains Plus

The first thing you'll probably notice with the Leatherman Freestyle is opening the outside-accessible blade is easy and fast, just like a pocket knife. When you unfold it and use the pliers you'll understand that when something is engineered correctly, power isn't a matter of size, but a matter of years of design expertise. Freestyle is great as a stand-alone tool or a companion for those activity-specific tools that don't feature pliers or a knife.

- CampSaver.com

With an outside-accessible blade, the Leatherman Freestyle offers the convenience of a traditional pocket knife with the versatility of a multi-tool.
