User Review: Leatherman Micra

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars

Although the scissors on the Micra are better than anything that you are likely to find on any other multi-tool or Swiss army knife the other tools are somewhat lacking.

The knife blade is durable and comes very sharp from the factory. It is very small and having to open the tool every time you need to use it can be a hassle. I have three of these and have noticed that they are more prone to rust than other tools I own. The tweezers would be much more useful if they were removable and thinner as the ones in Victorinox knives are, and the screwdrivers really don't seem to be durable enough to stand up to any heavy work.

I would recommend this tool for a glove box or tool box as the quality of the scissors alone makes this tool worth owning. But if you want a tool that can be used quickly and offers more functionality for similar weight then a Victorinox or Wenger might be more appropriate.
