Here's what other sites are saying:

With an ergonomic grip design and a blend of touring-specific features, the Leki Aergon 3 SpeedLock Ski Pole offers the comfort and versatility you need when venturing off piste. The pole features an adjustable shaft made of a strong and lightweight aluminum. It packs down to just over two feet to easily strap on a backpack, and offers an adjustable range between 43 to 60 inches so you can customize the length to your height as well as varying terrain and conditions. An industry-leading secure locking mechanism makes it easy to adjust the height and ensures the pole will stay locked in place once you set the height. The pole comes equipped with powder baskets, and features an interchangeable basket system so you have the ability to customize your basket setup to specific snow conditions. The ergonomic grip ensures a comfortable and secure hold for long-haul days, and the grip's overhanging top keeps your hand in place while stopping it from sliding off the pole. A neoprene security strap with fleece lining is included with the pole, and can be easily adjusted or removed by pulling upward to trigger the release mechanism.

This burly pole uses Leki's Speedlock, an external locking system that keeps your pole locked into place with a stainless steel pressure plate. Comfortable, light ergonomic grips are gentle on your hands.
