Overall, amazing poles for the price I paid (clearance at REI). Only a pound for the pair and they pack smaller than many other poles. Despite their thinner diameter, I have had no problems with excessive wobble and they felt completely solid for miles. I did have some problems with the sections sliding apart, but as these are my first pair of poles, that's probably my error.

The twisting lock is very easy to operate, but makes quick changes impossible. This means that I often do not adjust my poles to the slope unless it will be at least a mile long. The stability of the lock also leaves a little to be desired, as I notice a little slippage now and then. This is easily fixed and again, most likely operator error.

Bottom line: these are simple, light, and strong poles I got on the cheap. They may not have all the bells and whistles like Anti-Shock or positive angle, but they're definitely quality and I would buy them again for the price.
