User Review: Leki UltraLite Ti Luau

Leki UltraLite Ti Luau
Above: The current UltraLite Ti Luau, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

Rating: rated 2 of 5 stars
Price Paid: £37.50 each

I bought these poles because they were the lightest in store despite having reservations about their strength compared to heavier options. Shop staff (Blacks) assured me they had never had any problems reported. Until now...

One pole snapped within one mile of its first usage (admittedly on very rough ground). I returned it to Blacks who insisted on returning it to Leki rather than letting me swap both poles for something more substantial or getting a refund.

After over a month I still hadn't heard anything EXCEPT that the poles are designed for people under 80 kilos. Beware! Neither Blacks nor the Leki blurb mention this.
