A competent bag that will keep you warm. DWR effectively repelled dripping condensation. Lofted well, and it has more chest and shoulder girth than usual so one can easily shift around a bit while sleeping. Temperature rating is accurate. There's a handy zip compartment near the upper zipper for stowing essentials like a headlamp and a watch for the quick bathroom trip or time check. Has loops for sleeping pad straps but does not come with straps.

The full length zipper and draft tube are nice points and the foot box is well shaped to keep feet in a natural attitude. The bag narrows below the waist to retain heat well in this region of low heat generation while the bag feels roomy above. Wearing a light layer one could further depress the temperature range (Moonstone is singularly realistic with their range claims). Overall it is unusually comfortable and I am more likely to take it along than a slightly lighter but more confining bag within the same temp range.

Now the nits, the zipper snags frequently on the draft tube as there is no lining behind the zipper to prevent that. The head box is small while the chest opening is wide so it is necessary to fiddle some with the elastic drawstrings to get a good personalized draft seal (but it does seal, and the elastic is nice and forgiving when you shift). The zipper snagging is really the worst part about the bag and almost always requires some extra fiddling, but I'm okay taking extra care with it since the rest of the bag works.
