Here's what other sites are saying:

From Altrec Outdoors:
"Intended as a trail runner for the longest of long distances, some owners took the original Nike ACG's Air Zoom Steens much further--and higher--in places normal trail running and light hiking boots rarely leave footprints. Nike's new Air Zoom Steens II fits the same critically-acclaimed mold for cushion, traction and protection, but features an enhanced outsole with varied rubber compounds for grip that lasts longer than the first version. Unlike some trail running shoes that focus on waterproof uppers, the Air Zoom Steens II uses a combination of slightly water-resistant textile and leather inserts, so it's best for fair and overcast weather, but the overall price is substantially lower than high-performance trail running shoes with similar features. A molded TPU stability arm along the upper helps improve the overall support, especially on uneven trail surfaces. Beneath the dual Zoom Air compartments in the Phylon midsole is an enhanced sole design that pairs Nike's sticky rubber All-Track with a harder compound tread that won't shred or wear away like 100% sticky rubber running sole designs. Over the long routes, this improvement adds up to more mileage for your running dollar."

From REI:
"Long-distance trail runners will appreciate the exceptional cushioning performance of these lightweight, high-performance trail-running shoes. Durable and flexible split-grain leather combines with quick-drying, low-stretch nylon and polyurethane materials for an amazing fit. Thermoplastic urethane molded stability arms on uppers enhance support and durability. Soft nylon linings absorb and disperse excess moisture for faster drying. Padded and gusseted tongues relieve lace pressure while keeping out trail debris. Heel loops aid entry while variable lacing options enable a more customized fit. Rubber heel and toe caps protect uppers and feet from bumps and abrasion. Removable ergonomic footbeds add cushioning to midsoles; wicking topsheet helps manage moisture. Dual-density midsoles feature firmer Phylon™ in the mid-foot and rear-foot areas for stability, with lighter Phylon in forefoot for flexibility. Heel Air Sole units give consistent , lightweight, long-term shock absorption and stability. Forefoot Zoom Air units provide responsive, lightweight shock absorption and protection. Thin thermoplastic urethane film across forefoot and Trailframe thermoplastic urethane arch shanks supply protection and support on rough terrain. Nike All-Trac sticky rubber outsoles with harder rubber compounds in high wear areas supply traction, braking and stability on all types of surfaces."
