Skaha APEX Ultralight Climashield jacket

rated 5 of 5 stars Warm and light, no-frills insulated top. “Winter's Coming”, or so they say. In the U.K. that has means wet and windy, with the odd few days of snow if you are lucky. Body length is good, not being too short, and the cuffs don't ride up when raising my arms. The 13-inch zip makes it easy to get on and off. Elasticated hem which keeps drafts out, could do with an elasticated collar to stop heat escaping.  5.0 oz. Climashield APEX filling is a little bulky, like most four-season synthetic tops. Half Bag

rated 5 of 5 stars Just got ahold of one of the new bags from this company out in Seattle. Very nice! Has a water resistant shell and nice down!!! Slept in light snow/rain last weekend in the mountains in my Outdoor Research bivvy. Stayed dry and super warm! Think I could push it to 20° f or so...with my parka. I think it's the lightest way to sleep yet. Full review
