The Delta LT Zip microfleece pullover shines as a lightweight midlayer, warm baselayer and even as a standalone. Made from PolartecA(R) Classic 100 micro velour small grid, the Delta LT is highly air permeable, dries quickly and packs small. Its low bulk and Trim fit allow it layer easily under a shell or heavier midlayer. Easily stowed in a pack, it also performs as standalone in mild conditions. ERGONOMIC SYSTEM Use specific design that facilitates the body's natural motion is an essential element of Arc'teryx design. The Delta LT's functional articulation in the sleeves prevents them from riding up when the arm is bent, and gussets under the arms make it easier to extend reach. The Trim fit stays close to the body but does not bind. As a layering piece, the Delta LT is designed to work efficiently with a complete system to conserve energy, warmth and manage moisture. FUNCTION and VERSATILITY The deep front zip uses a nonlocking slider that allows single hand operation when rapid ventilation is needed. Pockets are removed so as not to lead to irritation under a shell. The high collar seals in warmth and layers easily under a shell. A slight drop hem adds coverage. Technical Features Moisture-wicking Breathable Insulated Great warmth-to-weight ratio Lightweight Quick-drying Patterning No-lift gusseted underarms Collar Configuration Standard collar Zippers & Fly Configuration 1/2 front zip to improve venting PolartecA(R) Classic 100 Micro Velour Small Grid-100% polyester, 152 g/mA^2. This fabric rapidly wicks moisture away from the skin, while still being highly breathable and ultra light.
Angles. It's all about the angles. The Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Iridium takes the same exact frame as the Flak Jacket, but has a slightly larger, more squared-off XLJ lens. So you get all the same features, only with a little more coverage for larger faces. As with the standard Flak Jacket, the XLJ is all about sport, and it's all about lifestyle. It looks and works just right whether you're groveling in your drops or kicking back with a cold one. This kind of multi-purpose use is appealing for the simplicity it affords. The Flak Jacket has an O Matter frame for lightweight, durability, and comfort, and the Unobtanium nose piece and ear socks help make the three-point fit as secure as wearing full-face goggles. High Definition Optics on Plutonite lenses offer great clarity, and to keep them that way, Oakley coats the lenses with a hydrophobic and oleophobic solution. These are features on all of Oakley's sport glasses; they haven't skimped just because the look here is fashionable. And being both sporty and fashionable is what the Flak Jacket is about. The Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ Iridium comes in a Matte White frame with Jade Iridium lenses. Jade has a neutral green base with a mirror coating for sunny days; it allows 17% light transmission. It comes with a hard case and a soft bag, the latter for cleaning and stowing the glasses in a pocket. There are also two sets of nose pieces to customize the fit.
Do you see shades of the Half Jacket XLJ in these Flak Jacket XLJs? At a glance the contoured Flak Jacket frame seems to be the only significant difference, but the Flak Jacket XLJ represents a new generation of sport eyewear performance. The interchangeable lenses have a permanent hydrophobic lens that repels skin oil, rain and sweat to optimize optical performance. The lenses also resist smudges and clean easier than previous eyewear, making the design better suited to endurance sports and extended climbing and backpacking. While some people found the Flak Jacket XLJ lenses easier to change than the Half Jackets, it's all really a matter of getting used to changing lenses. Like learning anything new, changing the lenses the first time around takes an extra moment or two. After that you can swap out lenses in a few moments and quickly adapt to new light conditions. The XLJ lens design offers more vertical sweep or coverage than the standard Flak Jacket designs, an essential feature for athletes with larger faces or those who tend to watch their foot placement more than others. Like the Oakley Half Jackets, the Flak Jacket XLJ has a featherweight O Matter frame with Unobtainium earsocks, and the proven three-point fit. Unobtainium tends to grip more when wet, so you don't have to worry about your Flak Jacket XLJs giving you the slip before you reach the finish line.
