Diagonal Ski Carry: Diagonal ski carry utilizes one side of the bottom front panel webbing and secures on the opposite side of the top front panel webbing. Dual Top Load/Backpanel Access (Step 1): The Kode 42 offers both backpanel and top load access to your dry pocket and hydration compartment. For backpanel entry, unclip the load lifter straps at the top of the harness to gain full access to the dual zipper pulls on the backpanel. Dual Top Load/Backpanel Access (Step 2): For top load access, unclip the top pocket retention straps to flip back the top pocket and access through the skirt collar. Glove Friendly Buckles: Swift release glove friendly buckles release quickly with thumb and forefinger providing easy access to retained items. Hipbelt Pockets: Dual articulated zippered hipbelt pockets allow for one hand usage when stashing and accessing often needed smaller items. Horizontal Backpanel Snowboard Carry (Step 1): A reinforced hipbelt wing provides quick horizontal snowboard carry across the backpanel of the pack. Place the pack backpanel up on the ground and position snowboard base up horizontally across the pack's backpanel, resting it on the reinforced hipbelt wings with the bindings on either side of the pack. Horizontal Backpanel Snowboard Carry (Step 2): Load the board and pack onto your back tensioning the hipbelt and harness to secure the board horizontally between the pack's backpanel and your pack. Reverse to remove. Hydration (Step 1): An internal zippered backpanel hydration compartment with reservoir hanger and a fully insulated dual zippered harness router provide for hassle and ice free hydration. Slip your reservoir into the zippered compartment utilizing the reservoir hanger if needed. Hydration (Step 2): Route the hydration hose through the right harness strap for on-the-go water management. Ice Tool Carry: A single ice tool loop at the base of the pack works in conjunction with the upper ski carry straps to provide stable and secure ice tool carry. Top Pocket with Helmet Carry: The Kode 42 features a dual compartment zippered top pocket featuring an integrated helmet carry system, non scratch goggle sleeve and under lid zippered pocket for the utmost in organization and access. Underlid Rope Carry (Step 1): On the underside of the Kode 42's top pocket you will find the nylon webbing that serves as your pack's rope carry system. Simply place your coiled rope beneath the nylon webbing and tension securely using the slider buckle. Underlid Rope Carry (Step 2): Reengage the top pocket via the top pocket retention straps and secure rope between top pocket and main pocket body. Vertical Frontpanel Snowboard Carry: Dual upper and lower reinforced strap wings on the reinforced fabric front panel of the Kode provide stable vertical snowboard carry. Durable 420 denier nylon was used to construct the Kode 42, and adjustable torso straps are lined with EVA foam. With dual top and back panel access, the Kode is easy to organize and load. In addition, the Osprey features external straps configured to hold everything from skis to ice axes and rope. Hip belt pockets provide easy access to your camera or phone, and all of the buckles are glove-friendly. Finally, you won't get thirsty in your outdoor pursuits with an internal hydration pocket.
