User Review: Ozark Trail 16' x 11' Sportiva Dome Tent

Needed a bigger tent for our family of 2+4, picked this one up at Walmart (Edmonton) and set it up in our back yard and was surprised how quick and easy it was for me and my oldest son. Looks good, nice and big, pretty good ventilation. The tent clips on to the poles so there are no pesky sleeves to feed the poles through, a superior design feature that makes setup speedy. Also, the "spider" style poles worked well.

Our first trip was to Gull Lake Ab where we suffered through a nasty storm with torrential rain, this tent was bone dry inside for the twelve hours we toughed it out. We packed it wet and headed home where I set it up in the back yard again, by myself - more difficult but it can be done, and it was still dry inside. I pegged it right down because of the wind and she's real sturdy.

You don't get a bunch of cool features for this price but a great tent for family car camping. Be aware that tent is not 16x11 as advertised, it is 11x11 with a reasonable sized vestibule. It will sleep four comfortably with their backpacks, our three youngest slept in it while Mom and slept in a small tent.

I would definitely recommend this tent!
