I recently bought this tent and am overall very happy with it. We had heavy rain and thunderstorms every day for 3 straight days. The kids were bored so we packed up. But the tent was dry as a bone. I had to double check the guy ropes on the fly to make sure they were taut, once they were, we were all dry.
The front entry vestibule was convenient to sit in when it was raining, but once there were huge puddles outside, staying inside was a better bet.
So, far I am still having touble putting it back in the bag, but that is the only downfall. I think more because I had to rush to put it up because the rain was on its way. And so I forget how it was packed.
I was able to get the tent up alone, but the fly I needed help because I am short.
I would definitely recommend this tent for a family of 4.
