Holds 3 liters water, never leaked, easy to add ice and carries lots of supplies. If anything may be a little large. Hiked desert, national parks, and beach vaca with this pack. Couldn't have made it without it.

Platypus is coming out with better taste reservoir and a tool to help close zipper in '08 so will upgrade. Wouldn't hike without this - one of the best purchases we ever made.
