Bigfoot Snowshoes ADV Adventure

rated 5 of 5 stars Best experience ever! Bought a family set and am completely satisfied with the whole experience ordering to arrival! I contacted the company by email and received a response in minutes. They simplified what I would need for my family first starting out, and received more then we would of ever expected. Service, product, price and delivery all amazing! We received four pairs of snowshoes, poles, and carrying bags for an amazing price. They arrived just in time to surprise my family for a March break… Full review

Bigfoot Snowshoes ADV Adventure

rated 5 of 5 stars My wife and I bought the shoes from BigFoot, and we were amazed at how they functioned. My wife had been snowshoeing previously and was impressed with the ease that the snowshoes functioned. The people at Bigfoot Snowshoes took really good care of my wife and I. They had a Valentine's Day special. My wife's and my 32nd anniversary was this year. We love to hike, and we wanted to try and see if snowshoeing was a good activity for us in the winter, so I wanted to buy her snowshoes for us. Well, I… Full review

Atlas Women's 9 Series

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Great quality basic snowshoe for non-mountaineering use. Comfortable stride and good grip, excellent bindings. After going through three other pairs of snowshoes that failed in the field (snapped frame, broken cleats, broken straps...) I finally ended up with these. They have stood the test of time over a few years on numerous trips, are the most comfortable ones I've had, have excellent and simple to use bindings, and look cool (to me).   The suspension system is really good and the toe lift is… Full review

MSR Men's Revo Trail

rated 4.5 of 5 stars On hill these snowshoes are so practical. Never plenty of snow underneath, the grip is efficient enough. These snowshoes work efficiently. The only part I don't like are the too long attach straps, even in tightest point. I do some winter camping in the Arctic (Baffin Island) and I grow up by the Penny Ice Cap in the Auyuittuq National Park. These snowshoes were very helpful in the expedition. I appreciate them! They are light and solid. The snow never sticks on them! Full review

Faber North Cliff

rated 3 of 5 stars A good snowshoe aimed at the recreational market, but that is both reasonably priced and packed with features. It is also designed AND made in Canada. A very good option for someone wanting a trail snowshoe that can handle climbs, steep descents, and a bit of running in a variety of snow conditions, all in the same day. Ease of use: The bindings are easy enough to use and set (pull on the strap in front then in the back), but they are much more finicky than they would seem at first glance. The material… Full review

Yukon Charlie's Kodiak Series 930

rated 1 of 5 stars Looks good, but failed immediately. Would not recommend this brand.  Full review

Bigfoot Snowshoes ADV Adventure

rated 5 of 5 stars Terrific customer service. Quick delivery! I ordered this set three days ago, and they showed up yesterday! I had one part of my pole that didn't lock properly, so I emailed the company, and within minutes I was emailed back about how to just tighten a screw to fix my problem. Well, I haven't got to use them yet, due to lack of snow. But so far my hubby and I are in love! Built really sturdy, and there were certainly no corners cut! All rivets are tight and the quality of the material is very good. Full review

MSR Shift

rated 4.5 of 5 stars A great little shoe in firm snow, not just for kids. These shoes are sold as youth snowshoes, but they perform very nicely for adults looking for light shoes in firm snow conditions (think spring in the Rockies). MSR lists these shoes as fitting youth up to 125 lbs and up to a Men's size 7. I took a bit of a gamble and ordered up pair as I was looking for a lightweight shoe (but still wanted good traction) for spring trips where you often carry your snowshoes more than wear them, but when you need… Full review
