Here's what other sites are saying:

From REI:
"Aluminum-tube, V-tail frames with unique elevated tails provide exceptional maneuverability in deep snow. Below the heel plate, a rear crampon provides exceptional lateral stability in the most difficult traversing conditions. Cinch bindings are all about grip, comfort and tenacious traction; with one pull of the cammed straps the entire binding locks securely around feet. Delta Live-Action hinges lift the tails of the shoes from the snow with every step for added mobility and speed. If your moniker is ''Rainier,'' you'd better have your crampons screwed on tight and be comfortable to boot. Yep, these do, on both counts! Integrated, bear-claw style crampons with a double row of aggressive, powdercoated stainless steel teeth offer superior climbing traction. Large padded heel instep panel is cushioned for extra comfort when strapped down tight; it's snug but not suffocating. Rainier's bindings keep you firmly in control and are easy to secure and undo. The hinges also provide extra lateral support and grip when traversing slopes."
