User Review: The North Face Apogee 24

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Design: 4 season alpine
Sleeps: 2
Ease of Setup: moderate
Weight: 5 lbs
Price Paid: $1200 cdn.

This is one of the best tents the North Face has ever produced. It is a single wall tent (integrated vestibule fly) making night-time or snowblind setup easy even though two of the five poles are internal. The structure is totally windproof and (needless to say) waterproof. Handles snow-loading excellently and two people can pack it in about five minutes. I have already pitched it a dozen times, not a problem anywhere. It can probably accomodate three people if necessary or if there is not a lot of gear. This tent cannot be beat for climbing in extreme conditions (freezing rain and 50mph wind) like we found in Banff two weeks ago!
