User Review: Scarpa Gore-Tex
Rating: ![]()
Materials: All leather, with a gor-tex inner linning
Use: rough trail
Break-in Period: none
Price Paid: $200
The Scarpa Gore-Tex (now called the Serria GTX) have been with me for about six years, and worn daily. This is an excellent hiking boot with a stiff Vibram sole. (I think they are using a new sole from a different company now.) I would have to say this boot has a life between six-seven years with heavy use, As long as you take care of the leather. The Gore-Tex has been great but is the reason I'm not getting this boot resoled. ( I want new Gore-Tex.) I will be buying this boot again.
