To my regret and disbelief I bought these boots while I was still growing. I only wore them for a couple of seasons. They provided excelent support, and waterprofness. They have a goretex lining which actually worked. I went about 10 miles along the AT one day and it had rained heavily the past two days. All the trails were flooded. I hiked all day through a minimum of 3 in of water. My feet were bone dry at the end of the day. My friend had some Merel hiking boots on, also gore tex. They didn't hold up nearly as well. I wore them as long as I could, but my feet continued to grow. They are still in great shape and I am currently looking for a pair to match them. They were the best boots I ever owned.
