I've had my Trionics for over seven years when I first got them I knew nothing about boots it was just dumb luck that I got the boots that I did. After the break in (that was a little hard on the feet) they were great. The fit like a glove, they have never given me any leak problems and even after this many years I see no signs of de-lamination. Not counting the break in I can count on one hand the number of blisters they've given me. The workmanship is top draw and the materials have held up well. After seven years though I've finaly worn the lugs down to the point were they served there purpose and are getting retired. I considered re-soling them but notices the beginings of cracks or cuts in the leather near the sole. No complaint though they've served me well and I'm hoping to replace them with there modern version the Fabiano/Scarpa SL. My hats off to Fabiano/Scarpa these boots have served me well, don't let the price bother you you'll get every nickel out of these boots.
