I've got big wide feet (47s) and the Scarpa Thunder is the best shoe I've ever used. Bouldering, sport, trad, tiny edges, smearing, all exceptional.
Quite stiff, but super comfortable, I would use Thunders over 5.10 Anasazi laceups, Galileos, La Sportiva Murias, (all shoes I have owned) which offer similar performance but much less comfort. Very good heel hooking performance, and a good price. Vibram XS Grip is up there with Stealth onx in my opinion.
Stretched a little, but size comfortably, they don't need to be tight.
Where to Buy
Here's what other sites are saying:
Reach new heights in the Scarpa Thunder rock shoes. With a snug, comfortable fit, they're built to handle cracks, slabs and sessions at the rock gym. Comfortable toe box won't smash your toes-ideal for long days at the crag and multipitch climbs. Sticky, durable Vibram XS Edge rubber provides great performance on most types of rock. Ventilation slits on the sides encourage airflow to keep your feet cool and dry; partial lining inside enhances comfort and minimizes stretching. Lacing to the toe creates an accurate, customized fit. Closeout.
