User Review: Scarpa Thunder

Scarpa Thunder
Above: The current Thunder, which may differ slightly from the version reviewed.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Use: bouldering to alpine
Break-in Period: comortable from the getgo
Price Paid: $100 us

I've got big wide feet (47s) and the Scarpa Thunder is the best shoe I've ever used. Bouldering, sport, trad, tiny edges, smearing, all exceptional.

Quite stiff, but super comfortable, I would use Thunders over 5.10 Anasazi laceups, Galileos, La Sportiva Murias, (all shoes I have owned) which offer similar performance but much less comfort. Very good heel hooking performance, and a good price. Vibram XS Grip is up there with Stealth onx in my opinion.

Stretched a little, but size comfortably, they don't need to be tight.
