A performance shoe that fits well right out of the box, the Vapor V offers a moderately downturned, fairly soft shoe with an asymmetric last for performance.
A sensitive design that’s also great for edging, the Vapor V is built with innovative Active Rand Technology. The uppers are constructed using a combination of suede and synthetic lorica, which offers stretch without stretching out.

- Moosejaw refers to the men's version
The Vapor V is a slightly less technical design that utilizes two more user-friendly and quick hook-and-loop closures. Like the standard downturned Vapor, the V utilizes Bi-tension active randing, which actively focuses power on the toes, rather than cramming your toes painfully forward, giving immediate performance with less tension. These active rands are tensioned in ways in which the shoe stores and releases energy as the foot makes the movements crucial to climbing. Think good edging and confidence for small holds and delicate moves.
