The biggest goggle in the I/O family, the Smith I/OX combines the badass features of the original I/O with the largest lens possible and eyeglass compatibility to bring I/O snow goggle awesomeness to everyone.
For larger faces, the Smith I/OX Acid Blockhead goggles give you a wide, distortion-free view and let you adjust to the conditions by swapping between the Red Sensor Mirror and Platinum Mirror lenses. Red Sensor Mirror lens features a light rose tint with 60% visible light transmission (VLT) to maximize color definition and increase depth perception in flat light. Platinum Mirror lens features a rose tint and 25% VLT to increase depth perception in very sunny to partly cloudy conditions; mirror coating provides increased glare reduction. To quickly adjust for different lighting or terrain, simply flip the two clips at the top of the frame, pop out the first lens and replace it with the new one. Oversized spherical lens tapers from the optical center toward the periphery for an extra-wide field of vision with minimal distortion. Double-layer thermal lens features a microporous port that allows lens to breathe while preventing moisture entry, greatly reducing fogging. Lenses also feature a Smith 5X Anti-Fog treatment to withstand fogging longer than standard anti-fog lenses. 3-layer face foam is constructed of a dense base, a plush mid layer and a soft fleece top layer; design ensures a tight seal, good moisture management and maximum comfort. Extra-wide adjustable strap is backed with a silicone bead so it stays in place on your helmet; clip buckle makes for easy on and off over a helmet or hat. The Smith I/OX snow goggles are designed for medium- to large-size faces and come with a microfiber storage bag with replacement lens sleeve.
Mark Abma would be the last person to point out his numerous awards, video segments, and photo appearances, but they're out there. The Abma Signature I/OX Goggle pays homage to Abma's near-legendary status as a big-mountain skier, and its graphics shows off his unique outlook on style. Just like the other goggles in Smith's I/O family, you get maximum peripheral vision from a spherical lens, easy lens interchangeability, an array of anti-fog technologies, and the softness of triple-layer face foam. The X means that this is the biggest and baddest of the I/O goggles, so it offers maximum lens coverage, an ultra-wide strap, and the largest fit. Abma rocks this goggle with a helmet, and you should, too.
