Summary
Check these out. Great boot without breaking the bank.
Pros
- Good support
Cons
- Will be upgrading the shoelaces
I found these at REI outlet. Was looking for a winter boot that wouldn't kill my wallet to use with my snowshoes and these fit the bill. So far they have been pretty dam good. From being fitted with Microspikes for a quick hike in Harriman to shoveling the driveway I have been very happy.
They fit real well and support my feet nicely (Planter Fascaitis). They also keep the feet warm with only one pair of socks and to me they feel light on my feet. Maybe because I'm used to my size 14 Red Wings.
